What to include so the answer is useful
- Whether you are buying or renting, and by when
- Budget as a range rather than a single figure
- Two or three localities, or the direction of the city that suits you
- Site dimension or configuration, if you already know it
- Anything non-negotiable — approval status, facing, floor, parking
