Privacy Policy

In short

This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use findmyproperty.online, why we collect it, who we share it with, and what rights you have.

This policy is provided for transparency and is not legal advice. It was last updated on the date shown at the foot of this page.

Who we are

Find My Property operates the website findmyproperty.online, a property discovery and assistance service operating primarily in Mysore, Karnataka, India. For any privacy question, contact info@findmyproperty.online or our contact number.

What we collect

  • Information you give us: name, phone number, WhatsApp number, email address, city and preferred areas, budget, property requirements, preferred visit dates, and anything you write in a message or notes field.
  • Property submission information: if you submit a property, the details and photographs you send us.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, the page you arrived on, the site that referred you, and campaign parameters (utm_source and similar) where present.
  • Cookies and local storage: as described in our Cookie Policy.

We do not knowingly collect information from children. We do not collect payment card details on this website.

Why we use it

  • To respond to your enquiry and find properties that match your requirement.
  • To arrange and coordinate property visits.
  • To introduce you to the relevant property owner or representative for a specific property.
  • To keep a record of your enquiry so that our team can follow up consistently.
  • To improve the website and understand which pages and searches are useful.
  • To meet legal and record-keeping obligations.

Who we share it with

When you enquire about a specific property or ask us to arrange a visit, we share what is necessary — typically your name, contact number and requirement — with the property owner or the property representative handling that property, so that the viewing can happen. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

We also use service providers who process data on our behalf: our hosting and email provider, and analytics tools where enabled. Analytics receives page and event data; we do not send names, phone numbers or email addresses into analytics.

We may disclose information where required by law, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

WhatsApp and phone

If you contact us on WhatsApp or by phone, that conversation is handled through those platforms and is subject to their own terms and privacy policies as well as this one. Clicking a WhatsApp button on this site records that a click happened; it does not send your message content to us until you send it.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and transaction records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal and accounting requirements — normally up to seven years for transaction records, and a shorter period for enquiries that do not proceed. Website analytics data is retained in aggregate.

How we protect it

The site is served over HTTPS. Administrative access is password-protected and restricted to authorised team members, with activity logged. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable technical and organisational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.

Your choices and rights

  • Ask us what personal information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct anything that is inaccurate.
  • Ask us to delete your information, where we are not required to keep it.
  • Ask us to stop contacting you.

Email info@findmyproperty.online and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The current version is always the one on this page, with its last-updated date shown below.

How your enquiry reaches a property partner

When you send an enquiry, we create a record of it with its own Lead ID and identify which property partner — the property owner, broker, agent, builder or developer — holds that property. We then pass your name, contact number, the contact method you said you preferred, and your requirement to that partner so they can respond and the visit can be arranged. We tell you this on every form before you submit it, and we store the exact wording you agreed to alongside your enquiry.

We keep a record of when the enquiry was received, which partner it was sent to, when it was sent and what the partner reported back. This is how we establish that an introduction came through us. It is also how we resolve any question later about what happened to your enquiry.

We share what is needed for the partner to help you. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not pass it to advertisers.

If you are a property partner

If you apply to list properties with us, we collect your name, contact details, company, the areas you cover and what you told us about your properties. We use it to assess the application, to contact you about listing, to route customer enquiries to you, and to administer our commercial arrangement.

Your phone number, WhatsApp number and email address are private. They are not published on the website, are not included in any public page, structured data, API response or page source, and are visible only to authorised staff.

Commercial terms agreed with you, including any rate and any promotional arrangement, are confidential between us.

What analytics does and does not receive

We record which pages are viewed, which properties are opened, which searches and filters are used, which enquiry and contact buttons are clicked, and whether a promotional banner was seen or clicked. These records identify a page, a property reference or a campaign — never a person.

Names, phone numbers, WhatsApp numbers, email addresses and message content are never sent to analytics, first-party or third-party. They are stripped before an event is recorded.
